Amelia Thompson, Founder
There’s nothing quite like the sound of laughter over a candle-lit dinner setting.
Hey there! I’m Amelia, a wife, daughter, dog lover, avid party planner, and a total sucker for love stories.
I have dedicated my heart, mind and soul to building Luxe by Amelia from the ground up since 2020. I craft the business, brand strategy, planning and production for Luxe by Amelia. I’m the first person you talk to when booking and the final word on all things planning and creating within our team.
For a decade, I’ve planned and produced hundreds of special events - for couples, families and corporations. But the opportunity to give meaningful representation to the sheer joy of once-in-a-lifetime celebrations is what fuels my passion.
I started in venue operations thus the transition to luxury wedding production was seamless and exhilarating, enabling Luxe by Amelia to excel as one of the few boutique event production firms that is equally focused on both logistics and aesthetics. In my role, I bring wedding and social event concepts to life with the perfect blend of project management, logistical prowess, orchestration, and creativity.

I’m most inspired by colour psychology and interior design, all of which heavily influence my approach to creative direction and event design.

Ffion, Floral Designer
There’s no better feeling than the joy of creating
spaces to celebrate the people you love.
Visual storytelling is at the core of everything Ffion does, and creating florals that evoke emotion, whether delicate, romantic blooms for an intimate ceremony or bold, striking arrangements for a grand celebration for the people around her is paramount.
When not designing florals for events, you’ll find her with her fiancé Kane and their cat, Ophelia, working inside and out on home renovations, perusing the local farmers’ markets, or whipping up a new dish and a craft cocktail.
Ffion, Floral Designer

I'm a true papyrophiliac - don't blamed me for being obsessed with beautiful prints, lovely textures or passionate about beautiful stationery.
When she’s not crafting the perfect email or producing great content for our socials, Sammie’s happy place is in a book, watching Harry Potter or spending time with her husband and two children. She knows the importance of the little things that make a wedding special. That’s why she is beyond honoured to be part of each and every event Luxe by Amelia produces.
